There are a number of ways in which you can turn your gas service on: in Person, by Web, or by Phone.

In Person
If you plan to visit one of our Customer Service Centers to apply for service, be sure to review the following information before applying for service:

  • A deposit may be required.
New applicants and former customers must supply PGW with copies of:
  • 2 forms of personal identification.
  • Proof of ownership, tenancy or residence at the service address, and the date your occupancy began, such as a lease, deed, title or rental agreement.

College Students: apply early! September is the busiest month of the year.

Landlords
If you are a landlord applying for gas service that will supply one or more tenants, visit one of our Customer Service Centers or call (215) 235-1000.

Requesting Gas Service
If no gas line exists at your property, you will need to request gas service.
