Crisis grants help customers pay the cost of restoring service or fixing a broken heater. The maximum amount available for a Crisis grant is $400. Customers may be able to combine LIHEAP, Crisis and UESF grants to prevent termination or restore service. Customers who are approved for a Crisis grant will have a 30-day hold placed on their account.
To determine if you are eligible for a Crisis grant, refer to the eligibility table for the maximum income by household size.
