A customer electing service under this rate must have and maintain complete and adequate standby non-natural gas energy (e.g., oil, propane, electric, steam) and equipment for alternate operation in the event of an interruption of gas service. The gas price for service under this rate is based on alternative fuel, No. 2 heating oil. An air conditioning rider is available from May through September.
