There are a variety of assistance programs available to help PGW customers pay for their natural gas heating bills each winter.

Assistance Programs
Customer Responsibility Program (CRP) helps low income customers better afford their PGW bills and maintain natural gas service
Customer Assistance Referral Evaluation Program (CARES) helps customers with special circumstances find ways to pay their utilty bill.

Assistance Grants
Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) is a federal grant offered to assist low income customers with their annual heating bills
CRISIS is a federal grant designed to help pay for heating costs in a heating emergency, when service is shut off or threatened to be shut off
Utility Emergency Services Fund (UESF) provides grants up to $1,500 to eligible low income customers to help them pay off the balance of their gas bill
