Eligibility
Interruptible Transportation Service is available to existing
PGW interruptible rate commercial and industrial customers,
qualifying new interruptible customers, or an existing customer
who, in the sole judgment of PGW, can manage its business
without the use of gas during periods of curtailment or
interruption. Other requirements include:
- Customer must be current with all PGW accounts.
- Customer must be able to satisfy the 15,000 Dth minimum
annual load requirement or arrange to pool with other
customers to meet this minimum threshhold.
- Customer must be metered by a Metretek telemetering
unit that is reporting daily reads, or pay a fee to update
or install such a device.
- Customer must provide a constant electric power supply
and dedicated phone line for the telemetering unit.
- Customer must have satisfied the terms of its existing
PGW service contract or make arrangements with PGW to
do so.
- Customer must find a supplier and provide proof of same,
or must meet PGW requirements to act as its own supplier.
- Customer must sign a new transportation service contract
for a minimum of one year.
