PGW BOARD OF DIRECTORS WELCOMES NEW MEMBER GERALD T. DAVIS OF SUNOCO INC.

The Philadelphia Gas Works (PGW) announces the appointment of Mr. Gerald T. Davis of Sunoco Inc., to the board membership of Philadelphia Facilities Management Corporation (PFMC), the operating and managing entity of PGW.

Mayor John Street made the appointment.

Mr. Davis holds the position of Manager, Media and Public Relations, with Sunoco, Inc. and has been with the company since February 1999. Prior to that, he served as Director, State and Local Government Relations at ARCO Chemical Company. Mr. Davis is also a member of the Board of Trustees of Neumann College, a member of the Board of Directors of Project H.O.M.E. and the End Violence Project and an immediate past member of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia Board of Education. He is a graduate of La Salle University and served as a Captain in the U.S. Marine Corps.
