| (Philadelphia,
PA – November 20, 2006) – The Philadelphia Gas
Works (PGW) is encouraging customers to sign up for this
year’s Parts & Labor Plan to protect against breakdowns
of natural gas home heaters and appliances. For as little
as $94, customers can purchase an annual house heater plan.
PGW announced the 2007 coverage plan with extensive media
advertising and a direct mailing to all PGW residential
customers in September.
Parts and Labor Plan coverage for 2007 is in effect November
1, 2006 through October 31, 2007. “This year’s
plan is better than ever,” said Joseph Smith, Vice
President of Sales and Marketing. “Customers may now
choose a timeframe – morning, afternoon or evening
– when a trained, professional technician will arrive
to provide service. In addition, next day service is available
after December 1.”
Coverage options include water heater, house heater, gas
clothes dryer, and house heater combined with electric central
air conditioner or any above mentioned household gas appliance.
