Thank You Philadelphia: Parts and Labor Plan Keeps Same Pricing

(Philadelphia, PA – September 21, 2007) – Times are changing, but one thing will remain the same for Philadelphia Gas Works (PGW) customers this year. And that's the pricing of PGW's Parts and labor Plan. Because of the plan's success in the past, PGW is thanking its customers by keeping the prices for this year's plan the same as last year.

This week, PGW mailed a Parts and Labor Plan application to all residential customers. The 2008 plan coverage begins November 1, 2007 and runs through October 31, 2008. Customers should sign up as soon as possible as enrollment ends on December 31.

If your house heater breaks, and you don’t want to be cold, fear not. The Parts and Labor Plan will help. For as little as $105, customers can purchase a combination house heater and water heater plan. Other coverage options include natural gas clothes dryer and house heater combined with electric central air conditioner.

Should customers have a problem, they no longer need to wait the whole day for a service technician to arrive. Instead, they may choose the time frame- morning, afternoon or evening, for a trained professional to repair the problem.

To sign up for the Parts and Labor Plan, visit PGW’s website at www.pgworks.com, call
215-235-2050, or visit one of PGW’s six Customer Service Centers on weekdays from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. as designated below, or on Saturdays at the Center City office.
