PGW LAUNCHES ENERGYSENSE HOME REBATES PROGRAM

Program delivers expertise, support and rebates to homeowners looking to improve home health, safety and comfort while reducing energy costs

(Philadelphia, Pa. - September 17, 2013) – Philadelphia Gas Works (PGW), with Philadelphia Mayor Michael A. Nutter, officially launched its new EnergySense Home Rebates program, today. The new program assists customers in conducting a home assessment to identify and correct those areas where energy is being wasted and where well-being and comfort may be impacted by improper ventilation or insulation, moisture and pest control, or faulty equipment operation. Typically, such assessments cost $500, but – as part of the new program – PGW is buying down the cost, so customers pay $150.
