Meet PGW

Welcome to Philadelphia Gas Works.

We’ve built this blog to be another place where you can learn about what matters to you. From projects we’re working on to our customer programs and from conserving energy and saving gas to making a difference in the community, this blog is for you.

The plan is to put a face to PGW and introduce you to the work we do – and why.

Along the way, we’ll share some of the (many!) reasons we believe natural gas is the smartest way to go, for your home or business.

And that's just the beginning. This is also where PGW will publish news, launch new campaigns and dust off some historic images from our storied past.

Hopefully, you’ll enjoy what we share. After all, we’ve got a lot in common. We’re all Philadelphians, we’re all concerned with keeping our homes warm and our businesses running smoothly and we all rely on more efficient natural gas each day of the week and every month of the year.

As for the affordability, abundance, reliability, safety, etc. of natural gas…. We'll get to all that in good time. Come see us again soon, or follow this blog to get updates as we publish them.
