Philadelphia Gas Works Natural Gas Costs for Summer to Decrease

(Philadelphia, Pa. – June 1, 2016) – As of June 1, Philadelphia Gas Works (PGW) residential, commercial, industrial and municipal customers natural gas rates will decrease for the quarter. The rate for typical residential customers, for instance, will decrease for the next three months from its current $1.14 per hundred cubic feet (Ccf) to $1.12 per Ccf. The new rate reflects what PGW pays for the gas.

Closed for Memorial Day

(Philadelphia, Pa. – May 25, 2016) – The Philadelphia Gas Works (PGW) six Customer Service Centers will be closed on Monday, May 30, 2016, for Memorial Day. The PGW Commercial Resource Center and Residential Customer Call Center will also be closed.

At any time, all gas leaks or gas-related emergencies should be immediately reported by calling 215-235-1212.
