Small and Local Businesses
Commitment to Small and Local Businesses
A core PGW corporate objective is to incorporate Inclusive Regional Economic Growth in its vendor sourcing and procurement practices. As such, PGW is committed to ensuring that small and local businesses have equal opportunity to fairly compete for PGW contracts. PGW practices this commitment by investing in, partnering with and creating contact opportunities for small and Philadelphia-based businesses.
If you are interested in obtaining small and local business certifications, the Small Business Administration and the City of Philadelphia can provide assistance in these efforts.
