Turn On Gas Service

To start gas service at a business with an existing gas line and meter, submit the Commercial Gas Service Application no later than seven days in advance, as access to the property may be required*. Please note, submission of your application does not mean PGW can start work within seven days, your property will first have to be inspected by PGW technicians.

*A deposit may also be required at the time of application.

Turn Off/Move Service

If your business is relocating or you need to transfer or turn off service, contact PGW's Commercial Resource Center at (215) 235-7077.

Install a Gas Line or Add Additional Equipment

Please contact us at least 12 weeks before service is needed. We’ll help you determine the correct size, outside meter location, and any upfront costs involved with the installation of your new gas service.

EnergySense Equipment Rebates (Commercial)

There’s no downside to conserving energy — it just makes sense. That’s why PGW created EnergySense, a series of programs, rebates, and financial incentives designed to save commercial and residential customers some green while helping them go green.

When customers upgrade their current natural gas equipment to more eco-friendly high-efficiency equipment, they can apply for an EnergySense rebate. Commercial rebates vary, depending on equipment size and type.
