PGW’s Customer Responsibility Program (CRP) offers low-income customers a way to keep gas service on, pay a bill that is based on their income and forgive past utility debt.
Documents to include:
- Proof of gross household income for the past 30 days or 12 months, whichever best represents your annual household income, and
- The name, social security number (SSN) / identification (ID) number, and date of birth (DOB) for each household member. The customer of record’s SSN / ID number and DOB are not required.
Please note: If you were previously enrolled in CRP and would like to re-enroll, you must first pay your past-due CRP balance, known as the cure amount, along with a reconnection fee, if applicable, to restore service. You may qualify for a lower cure amount if you provide current income information showing that your income is lower than it was when you previously applied for CRP.
CRP Discount Amount
The CRP discount is based on factors like your household size, gross household income and the home’s average gas bill.
