Pennsylvania’s Gas Choice program allows customers to choose a natural gas supplier other than PGW, and potentially save money. The program is available to all PGW customers, and PGW encourages customers to shop regularly. View a list of natural gas suppliers that have been approved by the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (PUC) below. Additional information can also be found at PAGasSwitch.com or calling 1-800-692-7380.
As part of the program, the PUC requires PGW to provide licensed natural gas suppliers with customers’ available account information, including name, address, account number, and natural gas usage history. Please note that telephone numbers will not be provided to suppliers. The account information will assist these suppliers as they promote their services to you, and may make it easier for you to choose the right supplier for your needs.
However, PGW will not release your information to licensed natural gas suppliers if you opt out. You may opt out of having either your natural gas usage information, or any of your account information released to natural gas suppliers. You can update your opt-out status below:
To select varying opt-out statuses for a number of properties, contact our residential Customer Care Team at 215-235-1000.
Customers should understand suppliers’ terms and conditions before choosing a new supplier. Comparing a new supplier’s rate to PGW’s rate will determine any savings which may result.
