Pennsylvania’s Customer Choice Program allows customers to choose a natural gas supplier other than PGW. As part of the program, PGW is required to provide licensed natural gas suppliers with customers’ available account information, including name, address, account number, and natural gas usage history. Please note that your telephone number will not be provided to suppliers. This account information allows suppliers to provide you with information about their services, and may make it easier for you to choose the right supplier for your needs.
However, PGW will not release your information to licensed natural gas suppliers if you opt-out. You may opt-out of having either your natural gas usage information, or any of your account information released to natural gas suppliers. There are three convenient ways to update your opt-out preference:
- Visit www.pgworks.com
- Call 215-235-1000 (residential) or 215-235-7077 (commercial)
- Detach, complete, and mail the tear-off slip below to PGW
Please complete your Customer Choice opt-out selection to make sure your status is updated. Even if you had submitted an opt-out selection in the past, you must do so again. If you want all of your information shared with suppliers, no response is needed.
