PGW Residential Customers Received Bill Credits Totaling 22.4 Million During The 2025-2026 Home Heating Season
Posted on: May 04, 2026PHILADELPHIA (May 4, 2026) – This past frigid winter, Philadelphia Gas Works (PGW) customers received Weather Normalization Adjustment (WNA) bill credits which totaled approximately $22.4 million during the 2025-2026 home heating season.
The WNA is a proactive measure put in place by PGW two decades ago to reduce weather volatility in billing as temperatures can vary year to year.
Customers began seeing these WNA credits on their bills as early as December 2025 through as late as February 2026, depending on their billing cycle.
