Pay Less with CRP
Considering the impact of the government shutdown and the related lack of LIHEAP funding, beginning November 1, PGW will not disconnect service for residential customers who are participating in PGW’s Customer Responsibility Program (CRP) or who have directed their LIHEAP grant to PGW this year in an early application with the Department of Human Services (DHS). To enroll in CRP, call 215-235-1000 or apply online.
Lower your gas bill up to 50%. Reduce what you owe.
Enroll today in PGW’s Customer Responsibility Program and cut your bill in half. Don’t wait. CRP is a customer assistance program that can help low-income customers better afford their PGW bills and keep their gas service on. CRP customers pay less each month and past debt is forgiven.
Apply online now through My Account. Be sure to have:
- Proof of gross household income for the past 30 days or 12 months, whichever best represents your annual household income, and
- The name, social security number (SSN) / identification (ID) number, and date of birth (DOB) for each household member. The customer of record’s SSN / ID number and DOB are not required.
If you were previously on CRP and wish to re-enroll, you must first pay the past due CRP bills, known as the cure amount, plus a reconnection fee (if applicable) to restore service. You may be eligible for a lower cure amount if you submit income that is lower than the amount submitted at the time of your previous application for CRP.
