Philadelphia Gas Works Natural Gas Costs for Fall to Increase

(Philadelphia, Pa. – September 1, 2016) – As of September 1, Philadelphia Gas Works (PGW) residential, commercial, industrial and municipal customers natural gas rates will increase for the quarter.  The rate for typical residential customers, for instance, will increase for the next three months from its current $1.124 per hundred cubic feet (Ccf) to $1.236 per Ccf. The new rate reflects what PGW pays for the gas.

PGW North Philadelphia Customer Service Center Will Be Closed for Renovations

PGW NORTH PHILADELPHIA CUSTOMER SERVICE CENTER WILL BE CLOSED FOR RENOVATIONS STARTING AUGUST 22

(Philadelphia, Pa. – August 18, 2016) – The Philadelphia Gas Works (PGW) North Philadelphia Customer Service Center (1337 W. Erie Avenue) will be closed for renovations starting Monday, August 22, 2016, through Tuesday, August 30, 2016. PGW has five district offices across the city that will remain open for normal business hours for your convenience.
